Hugging the Sheep

My recent twitter status "Bee has hugged the sheep" apparently confused some followers, so here is the sheep:

It's made of wood with ears of leather and really sheepy fur.

It was a birthday present the year before I left Germany and stayed with Stefan. The sheep is always happy when I visit. And here is Stefan, featuring his new Google T-shirt in honor of Google's 10th birthday:

  1. Bee - may I bring my border collie over to herd your sheep? I'm quite worn out playing bally and frisbee, he needs something to herd!

  2. Hi Bee,

A cute little thing that I know you do your best to protect. However, after reading this arxiv paper by Michael Courtney and Amy Courney you may instruct Stefan to go out and purchase a helmet for it:-)

    Best,

    Phil

  3. Hi Snowboarder,

Sure, feel free to bring your collie. You can have it back on oak or birch wood, just let me know. Best,

  4. Hi Phil,

Ha! There's a future in sheep research. We have of course studied the literature before the move to determine the forces required to drag sheep over various surfaces. Tiles go pretty well. Best,

    B.

  5. Hi Bee,

So we might say that a sheep’s durability although it could in one sense, as per evolution, be considered attributable to random, on the other hand should not be considered entirely shear luck :-)

    Best,

    Phil
